Do you mean the whole track? To do that, I click on it and press "Command" and "X". To cut a piece of a track, click on it twice and it will appear on the bottom. Then just drag and highlight the part you want to cut out or move.

Well actually, we're just using one song and changing it to a different genre. Although, you can take pieces from different songs.

As Gaby said, we are mashing two songs but I'm sure you can use more or less and just add and take out. I believe the overall goal is to change the genre.

Q1.) Is it possible to separate the stems of the song you chose to remake?
Q2.) Can you mute vocals without muting the music? (I think you'd have to separate the stems to do it).
Q3.) Is it possible to make "masculine" vocals sound "feminine/whispery"?

1. Can you use just the lyrics of one song and add it to the other?
2. How do you add more to the songs, using Garage Band?
3. How do you copy just one sound from a song? (Like if I only wanted the bass part, or just the drum part?)

You can do many things, you can either change the whole background of the song or you can speed/slow down the tempo.
